This image shows the amazing and magical serenity of the red sea during the half hour of twilight just as the sun goes down. At this time the sea glows red, hens the name, from the reflection of the pink, red and purple light as it bounces off the normally dull and baron desert mountains that surround the Red Sea straights.

In this image is a wooden pier that guides us out to infinity into the red sea with blue, orange, red and pink sky and deep red, green and blue seas. This image has used 'HDR' High Dynamic Range techniques to bring out the huge range of colours that are invisible to the naked eye.
