Thanks so much Karl. I was actually resigned to just shooting the lake and had decided on the log as a good element to make the lake more interesting. About then is when the clouds parted and revealed the mountain!

Thanks so much Wendy. Clouds covered the mountain the whole day until about ten minutes after I arrived at the lake. Sometimes, I feel like the luckiest photographer in the world!
