The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Taking a Break is a colorful ,textural painting from my series on houses in McLean, VA where I grew up. I took this from a photograph that I took right when a worker was taking a break from gardening. This painting is in a metal frame.
