"Taking The Risk" is a painting I did when I was feeling my life was literally spinning in circles with no clear vision of where I might land. I believe we all experience this at one point in our lives and we have to make the choice to let ourselves "go with the flow" believing our future is ours to take hold of if only we are willing to take the risks. I chose orange as the primary color to signify hope and happiness in the midst of confusion.

I began my love for art at my grandmothers' knee. It was her encouragement that led me to "color outside the lines" by experimenting with various media. I went on to attend art school and begin freelance work. Once you catch the creative bug - I don't think it ever leaves you. I enjoy capturing images from various "adventures". This has led me to experiment in painting, photography and drawing as well as mixed media. As a self-taught digital artist I am finding more ways to utilize technology to express emotion and ideas I want to convey. Constantly evolving and growing as an artist is one of my highest goals!
