I'm glad you all like it :) Thanks :)

I love your work, definitely going to purchase something.

Thanks for your compliments. That would be awesome :)

So beautiful! L/F

Thanks Marian :)

Beautiful painting! I love the gradient of the sky reflected in the calmness of ice cold water; the glass-blown texture of the trees and their colors against the cool blue of ice monoliths and the crispness of lines and shadows.

I really like the composition. Excellent.

Love this piece... don't know how I missed it on my first visit! Very nice work!

Incredible painting Patricia! Almost Sci-Fi :-)

About Acrylic Prints

Acrylic Print with Mounting Posts

Mounting Option #1

Acrylic Print with Hanging Wire

Mounting Option #2

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print.   Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.

The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!

All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).

The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.

Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts.   The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall.   When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done.   The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1".   All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print.   Click here for mounting details.

Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back.   There are no metal mounting posts at the corners.   Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done.   Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"   Click here for mounting details.

Looks great. Exactly as advertised. One third the price of Fuji Flex on aluminium.

We've just refurbished our holiday home in Naples and I promise EVERYONE who calls at the home remarks on the beauty of the image, that includes delivery men, friends and family. We did think at first to have the image of the Pier placed on canvas but by putting it on acrylic the colours are so vivid it's an absolute wonderful piece of art.

I bought this for a cloistered nun---and she was ever so pleased--said it was the gift she ever received--it truly shows how Christ suffered

Love it! Gave it as a gift to the CT techs for the new CT suite.

Well, it has been a month and I still have not received it. Customer service does not offer much information. I am giving it another week or two tops and then will sadly have to ask for a refund. I really did want this beautiful photo. The photographer, Juergen Roth, has been wonderful to communicate with. He is probably as frustrated as I am.

Artist's Description

Taxus glacialis was first described in 1911 by explorer R.F.Scott and was mainly found on the outer edges of the Ross Ice Shelf in Antarctica. Apart from the fact that their roots penetrated deep into the ice, very little is known about this species. The last known example was transported to Heidelberg university in 1936 but sadly did not survive.

About Patricia Van Lubeck

Patricia Van Lubeck

Born in Amsterdam in 1965, living and working in Australia at this moment. My recently created oil paintings are all about 'individualism'. Most of the people can associate themselves with one of the trees in the paintings. The trees are performing like actors. Every person is gifted with at least one special thing in life, so you easily can personify yourself with one of the actors. As the brave one, the cheeky one, or the lucky one. But also if you don't take the titles too literally, you can see the solo acting tree as a leading one in a group, a showing one in a circle of viewers or a guiding one in front of a public. In some way, we all are the one. Even if it is for just once.
