Temple Bar is an area on the south side of the River Liffey in central Dublin. It is seen as
the cultural quarter and hub of Dublin’s nightlife. It sprawls over cobbled pedestrian lanes
and is a hive of activity with busy restaurants and pubs, many of which host live music
events. As well as the area being named Temple Bar, one of Dublin’s most famous pubs
goes under the same name and a visit to the area is not complete without stopping for a photograph or, if you are lucky enough to get in, a drink or a bite to eat within its walls. This image shows the constant moving of people within the area interspersed with some of the many who stop for that obligatory photo.
