Description
This bird it is also named as Hoary Redpoll (Acanthis hornemanni) but I prefer more to called Arctic Redpoll.
In "All about birds" website we can read on this species of bird : "A small pale bird of the high Arctic, the Hoary Redpoll is a rare winter visitor to southern Canada and the northern United States."
This species of bird (this bird) I have only seen in winter of 2009, this photo was done around the end of winter 2009. This bird is in-flight in-front of a bird feeder of a forest.

Beautiful flight photo of a very uncommon bird, Hoary Redpoll. I've also seen only one, during February of 2013, in Northwestern Connecticut. The colors and details you've captured are fabulous, as was you're timing! F/L

What a pretty little bird. "The Arctic Redpoll", Asbed with the red and black markings on his head and face. So pretty in flight! V/F
