so that's where that photo went

This is one you will always hold dear to your heart :)

Great photo. Lucky to have a dad with such talent. I'm sure she learns a lot from looking and enquiring about the subjects that you paint. Fantastic for a young mind.

very intense critic

Thank you Lacy for the comment on The Art Critic.

I have taken a picture but can't figure out how to capture it in email. I love the picture but I should have gotten the bigger size as I have about 2 feet between the windows and the picture. If you know of someone who wants this picture I would sell it to them and get the larger one but I have no way of shipping it. Thanks for asking, Jeri Engler

I ordered Moon Child by Candy Schultheis as a gift for our friends. It came beautifully matted and framed and looks lovely on a wall. Our friends love it.

The Cobra Attack was perfect for a retired helicopter pilot. It arrived in perfect condition and was exactly as pictured on the website. Top quality!

Lovely picture! It fit right in at my house. Also the packaging was so good there was not a chance that it would get damaged in the mail. I was very pleased when I got it.

Photo print itself turned out beautifully (five stars) although frame quality was much lower than expected and scratched/not flush in certain spots (3 stars). Will have to get it reframed so very disappointed with Fine Art.

Love the picture! Grew up on the South Side of Youngstown and Mill Creek park and the Old Mill was a wonderful part of my childhood. Now I have a wonderful memory hanging in my Family room.

Artist's Description

Long ago and far away...the critic gazed forlorn... Dad, is that a snake I see... between the trees to Warn... Of impending doom and gloom.... with every passing day. Won't you paint another one...so I can pass this way. Photo taken in 1976. My favorite art critic. My daughter.

About Richard Brooks

Richard Brooks

Hello, my name is Richard Brooks and I live in San Antonio, Texas. I am a self taught artist and started my career in the early 1970's after serving in the United States Army. Upon returning from Viet Nam I exited the military and became a traveling artist. I traveled up and down the east coast doing the shopping mall art circuit. Born in Brooklyn New York I have since relocated to the Alamo city of San Antonio, Texas. I create in oil. acrylic, pen and ink on canvas, hardboard, and paper. My subjects are usually reptiles, amphibians, birds, insects. I try to capture a moment in a day of a life that many people do not get to see. All of our wildlife should be treated with respect. Not just the cute and cuddly. They were all put on this...
