After reading Socrates, as known through Plato, "The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius" as published by The Harvard Classics, "The Medium, The Mystic, and the Physicist" by Lawrence LeShan, and "Astrophysics for People in a Hurry" by Neil deGrasse Tyson, I felt compelled to create a logograph for The Big Bang to Present Day, in order to give a comprehensive, simple (if also simplified) big-picture look at our inherent interconnectivity.
From the center outward in expansion:
1) 13.8 billion years ago...The Beginning as far as we know, when all was one, a trillionth the size of the period at the end of this sentence, which then expanded and as yet, hasn't stopped.
2) The first expansion beyond expansion itself, The Planck Era, when all-as-one expanded to a multi-dimensional, cause-and-effectless free for all that lasted less than a trillionth of a second.
3) At the end of the Planck Era we have the Forces of Nature breaking free from the rest of the all-as-one... Free Will (which I actually believe was the first expansion itself, but to give it a tangible place as a Force of Nature that it clearly is, I'm mentioning it here) ... Gravity ... Strong Nuclear Force ... Weak Nuclear Force ... Electromagnetism ... and Photons ... one trillionth of a second into expansion.
4) With handy new Forces of Nature to help organize reality, all-as-one expanded into the Quark-Lapton era, the beginning of cause and effect, most notably with the matter-antimatter creation and annihilation becoming minutely imbalanced. A One billion and one to one billion, one off imbalance of sub-atomic-matter-bits that didn't annihilate with their sub-atomic-antimatter-bits counterparts. It's been only one millionth of a second into expansion.
5) One full second into expansion and all-as-one in the form of Force of Nature and free-floating sub-atomic-matter-bits, expands further, allowing quarks to beget hadrons and leptons to beget electrons (by carrying a negative electrical charge) in the same one-billion-and-one to one-billion imbalance. Free will to become...
6) Two minutes into expansion and the imbalance allows enough sub-atomic-matter bits to join that we get our first elements: Hydrogen, Helium, "heavy hydrogen" aka Deuterium, "even heavier hydrogen" aka Tritium, and Lithium, the building blocks of stars... but first-
7) For 380,000 years this particle-element soup expands, the imbalance continuing in the favor of more matter-bits until a near-literal picture is formed...
8) The first cosmic selfie! Basically, the last of the free-floating electron clouds found proton and proton-neutron partners to dance with, releasing a bath of photons that had no more electrons to bounce off of, and thus snapped the first picture of where all the matter was in this early universe; from where we are, we "see" it in microwaves so we call it the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation, or CMB.
9) It takes the first billion years of expansion to coalesce enough matter to create stars and super clusters of stars we call galaxies, and superclusters of galaxies too! Stars explode and heavier and heavier elements are produced, allowing more and more matter to accumulate! Presumably this is the birth of our blackholes and white holes, maybe even wormholes. And since we have no real idea about dark matter but it's gravitational pull, and dark energy but its expansive force, I'm going to mention them here though they probably didn't originate here, they certain helped form our galaxies and galaxy clusters and superclusters!
10) 4 billion years later (9 billion years ago for us), our sun is born within the Orion arm of the Milky Way galaxy circling as a part of the Virgo supercluster, and it takes more than 5 billion more years for the surrounding matter to accrete into the planets we know and love...
11) As newly form planetary bodies themselves, our solar neighbors and Earth herself joined their ancestors in a bombardment of solar debris which allowed close neighbors to share elements and minerals before everything calmed and cooled down about four and a half billion years ago.
12) 4.4 billion years ago, those elements and minerals cooled and settled into land and ocean we know shifted and changed over time.
13) A billion years later, about 3.5 billion years ago, by means we're still not entirely sure scientifically, single celled organisms populate our oceans! These first organisms don't need oxygen to live, but produce it as a by product of their living!
14) It takes those early organisms billions of years to produce us Ozone and Atmosphere, the only reason we came into being! But first...
15) With Ozone and Atmosphere, land and water, we have the rise of more complex life forms which Dinosaurs are known to have dominated 200 million years ago, over 13 billion years into expansion of the all-as-one into the free will driven, cooperative many...
16) And 65 million years ago, a Mt. Everest sized space-debris slammed into Earth and killed off all-live "larger than a suitcase," as Tyson wrote it. Extinction level event that took out most of our flora and fauna (and still, look how diverse we are!)
17) With dinosaurs dead, mammals rise, and foot millions of years, evolve with the Earth herself, with circles and changes the animal kingdom and plant-life learns to live with!
18) Which is why and how we expanded and evolved into early people among the plants and animals, 200 million years ago, more than 13 and a half billion years into expansion of the all-as-one.
As we seek to understand ourselves, we cannot help but to feel a need to understand the reality we live in too, and that isn't arbitrary.
