It’s okay. As a yoga mat, it’s not exactly nonslip.

I did not recieve this yoga mat that I orderd.
The ‘Biscione’ (derived from the Italian word for grass snake) charge became associated with the historic city of Milan after the Visconti family gained control in 1277. The symbol has continued to remain in Milan’s heritage. As a symbol of this great city, the ‘Biscione’ is used by multiple organizations associated with or based in the city including the Inter Milan Football Club and Alfa Romeo includes a biscione in its logo impaled with a red cross on white (derived from the flag of Milan), as does espresso machine manufacturer Bezzera.
I have tried to recreate this symbol in an Italian landscape with the serpent climbing out of the thorn bushes to devour it’s prey. Pastels have been used from their vividness and contrast and to add colourful vibrancy to the composition.
From Designer to Teacher to Chicken Farmer and back again; this time in Egypt; no Italy!!! The work that I am presenting on fineartamerica has been inspired by my time in both Egypt and Italy and some of place I have been lucky enough to travel to along the way. I work mainly in watercolour and pastels; I enjoy speed and freeness of watercolour but also the deep contrasts and rich colours pastels allows. I am currently experimenting with oils, but this is still in its infancy and I'm experience with still life, in particular fruit! I hope that you enjoy my work, please feel free to comment or like any pieces that catch your attention. Thank you
