Surprisingly quick response and delivery time . The customizing process was easy to figure out , and the bag was exactly as i had ordered it . It's perfect to carry around my sketch pad and pencils or framed art work . The fabric is heavy weight , and the handle is sturdy and well attached . Good overall construction and the image quality is bright and clear .

Received this lovely tote. The image printed beautifully on the fabric. I ordered the small 13x13 size and find it attractive and handy for carrying odds and ends. I'm looking forward to showing it off.

Ordered this in the generous large size. It is beautiful, very dynamic. Am very happy with the quality of the image and the bag itself.

I ordered this tote bag for myself and I love it. The colors are vivid and crisp. The fabric and handles are sturdy. I have already gotten several complements from others as I run my errands. They ask where I got it and I direct them to your website and give them the artist’s name. Glad I bought it.

Artist's Description

The carpenter is a piece about my father who built things with tools. Many of the tools on this piece are his. The coffee cup can pull out under the water spiket and can catch the water that drips out of it. Or it can be moved and the water can drip into a bucket placed on the floor. This could be hooked up to dispence beer as well. The shirt and pants are made of thirteen ply hardwood plywood covered with polymer resin. .

Some of my earliest aesthetic influences were the old Venice canals, then inundated with oil derricks. I found the canals and the old bridges crossing them interesting and mysterious. My father was another early influence on my work; he was a metal and wood worker, and I learned building skills from him. He was very resourceful and inventive, whipping together small buildings and additions on our property. In 1962 I saw an exhibition of work by installation and assemblage artist Edward Kienholz. It inspired me to make my own sculpture from found objects. During this time I also became...
