Congrats on a great image of one of our favorite Milwaukee icons. Always loved a good flick there followed by a snack at Ma Fischer's. Congrats on making it to 321. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Paul!

I am the artist who ordered these items. I was disappointed with the fleece blankets. The image printed crooked on 4 of the 5 blankets and the 'plush fleece' is very different from the plush fleece blankets I ordered previously. No where near as 'plush'. These blankets were unsellable. Also, one of the tapestries showed up with a thread that was pressed right into the fabric which made it unsellable as well. The reason I didn't ship these items back was due to the fact that by the time I received the order, there was insufficient time to return the order in time to meet the '30 day' from the date ordered deadline. This is the first time I've been disappointed with an order featuring my art by way of FAA. Sadly, it makes me hesitant to order again.

Got my tapestry from german customs today. I SO love it! Just wonderful to see art that large.

Artist's Description

I love the entrance to the Downer Theater on the East Side of Milwaukee many times before today. And it never gets old. Built in 1915, it is the oldest theater in the city of Milwaukee that still shows films. The current green enamel facade replaced the orignal in the 1930s. Althought the original auditorium has been split into two screens, it still retains it's historic feel. Now I admit that I don't see many movies in the theater these days. But when I do, seeing a great piece of cinema in a place like this is just awesome. I hope this place is still around in another 100 years or so. Day 321 of my 365 photo a day project. About Scott Norris

Emotion. Mood. Feelings. This is what I capture through my photographs. Whether it is landscapes, architectural elements, still life, or macros - it is a very personal journey as my own fears, triumphs, beliefs, and shortcomings are exposed with each photo. Much of what I shoot is done spontaneously without preconceived thought or plan. I let what is around me dictate what is photographed. And the shooting is only the first step - a jumping off point. I take the raw images and create what I see in my mind's eye. Coaxing out textures present in the shot - sometimes adding them. Enhancing the contrast of light and dark to create the mood and emotions I felt and feel. In the end, it's all about listening to my heart and mind...
