Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Fits my phone perfectly and looks fantastic.
This painting is from a collection called "Animals Out of the Clouds". Each painting is inspired directly from images formed from clouds in the sky that I saw and photographed while cloud gazing.
This painting features a giant komodo dragon and a much smaller musk ox scale the side of a mountain. Tiny pine trees at the base of the dark, hulking rock clue the viewer in to the animals sizes. The musk ox has a comical expression on his face. He looks to be either in mid-sentence or else shocked upon spotting the dragon.
I grew up in the country in the "thumb" area of Michigan. The plants and animals of the nature that surrounded me every day have been featured in my art ever since I was a very young child, and they continue to have a major presence in my work even today. I enjoy working in so many artistic media, but drawing, painting, and photography are my true passions. I attended the University of Michigan School of Art & Design where I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts.
