Description
Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

I am so taken with the artwork of Dorothy Dooley and feel honored to have an original piece of her art in my home. I wish I could have all her originals but wall space and the budget just wont allow. The notecards are a great way to capture more of her art for myself.
Life is filled with many day to day tasks and activities, some of which are pleasurable, some of which are not. Too easily, we can fall into the trap of living a life of habits, moving from one task to the next without thinking about anything but “getting stuff done.” The Evening Ahead reminds us that life has many pleasurable moments – a special evening out, a vacation, a wedding, an anniversary, an elegant event for which we need to dress up – and part of that pleasure is the anticipation as we prepare. Rather than rush through this, as we are tempted to do by a lifestyle that consists of “getting stuff done,” we slow down and live the moment, thinking good thoughts of anticipation, joy, and happiness. The Evening Ahead invites us into the boudoir of a beautiful woman. As with any representational painting, this invitation encourages the viewer to put themselves in the venue of the image – we are the beautiful woman, we are the person preparing for this special eveni...
I am a fine art painter who creates representational images celebrating light, life, and color. A commercial illustrator for more than 20 years, I have been painting for most of my life, and in the last 13 years have focused exclusively on fine art. I celebrate images that invite the viewer to step into the artwork and experience a sense of joy, peace, freedom, encouragement, meditation, and thought. There's a lot of angry art out there, as well as a lot of shallow pop. I choose to use the abilities and experience I have to promote beauty and goodness.
