Description
When I first began this image, I was really just thinking about the importance of imagination.. Our imagination allows our minds to take flight and be totally free... regardless of what the world around us is doing. After working for a while, I began to think about the less imaginative people out there. It made me realize that the mere capacity for imaginative thought is truly a gift that many of us take for granted. The Eyrie is meant to symbolize that place in our minds where we can take flight at will. The focus originally was on the flight itself... until I realized that the place in our mind that allows flight in the first place is truly an equally important thing.

Well put John. You are taking a flight, ever so carefully, cautiously following the ones that dared before you. "Is is wise?" you maybe asking yourself.... but then, you are an artist, you will take that plunge.
John Alexander replied:
Thank you so much Yvonne! So great to hear from you again. I hope all is well in your world.
