I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.

Artist's Description
The Fox Theater in Atlanta Georgia, There used to be a Fox in just about every major city.
This one was fully restored and in 1989 they celebrated the 60 th anniversary of "Gone With The Wind" with a black tie event and commissioned special posters of "the Fox Theater" commemorating the event! Ted Turner was there along with 7 of the original cast of the movie and many elite, I was there in black tie signing prints, a great event and a great painting!
The original 36 x 48 oil painting sold for $10,000.00.
About Van Cordle
VAN B. CORDLE I consider myself to be a natural surrealist and although my paintings may at first bring to mind such terns as "photo-realism" or "super-realism", but they are in fact, quite painterly. Although they have been tightly rendered to give the illusion of reality, they are unlike the photo-replicative paintings of most photo-realists. When and if I take photographs, I use them as sketches to be used and surpassed, not as goals to be reached. I am inspired by the simplicity and nostalgia of old neon signs. I knew a few other artists had done some similar works, like John Badder did an occasional sign included in his Café series, but thought I was the first to do a serious series of oil paintings on Neon signs back...

Pristine! You might show your work to a museum in the area to see if they want to exhibit it or acquire it (money is tight, but you never know!)

The Fox Theatre was on one side of Broadway, the Babcock Theatre on the other. Going to a Saturday matinee was magical. The buyer of this beautiful piece of movie history got a deal...wow!
