My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Artist's Description

In 1957 Juan Manuel Fangio won the German GP at the "green hell", Nurburgring, and his fifth Campionship with an extraordinary perfomance. Suffice to say his record lap was 24" faster than his own record of previous year. After the race he admitted that never again would be able to go faster, and didn't sleep for three nights after the burst of adrenaline. He retired that year from racing. I painted a "trail of genius" after him to illustrate the effort.
About Lorenzo Benetton
I started drawing since 10 years old. My favorite then : trucks and airplanes. After a while I began drawing cars, mostly Formula 1 cars as I became a racing fan after two particular wins of the famous Jim Clark on Lotus at Indianapolis and the first Cosworth engine victory (first race !) at the Dutch GP in Zandvoort. In those first years, I could never think, or dream, that one day I would become a Ferrari supplier, visiting often Maranello and having a couple job proposals from two other F1 teams. However I stopped drawing for almost 30 years due to my engineering studies and hard job. Now I decided to go back to my passion, here you'll see some of my new works and some of the old ones that I'm going to restore. I prefer previous...
