The photo doesn’t fill the mug. There are gray borders on either side of the photo: .75 inches on one side and 1.25 inches on the other

When creating a painting, it is the decision making process that I enjoy. I'm always amazed how an idea for a painting can evolve and totally turn in a different direction from where I started. My goal is to create an image that is unique and that leaves the viewer with a questioning sense of wonder. I'm a member of the Charlotte Art League.
