The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
The Rabb Plantation Home, southeast of Brownsville, Texas, along the twisting Rio Grande River. The house, in Queen Anne style, was built in 1892, during the waning years of the steamboat era, by land and cattle baron Frank Rabb and his wife Lillian. Because South Texas was sparsely developed at the time, the region’s mode of transportation to other cities was the boats that traversed the Rio Grande. Overland travel was difficult, so Brownsville’s riverboats also connected the region to other port cities like Corpus Christi, Galveston and New Orleans, which heavily influenced the architecture of the time. The home rests in a sabal-palm and birding sanctuary, and palms, harvested for their edible hearts, were one of the crops grown on the Robb Plantation and shipped to ports along the Gulf Coast.
