This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
Artist's Description
The Kea is the world's only alpine parrot. It gets it's Maori name from the raucous cries of "keeaa" that it makes, which lets you know that they are in the area.
They are highly social and inquisitive birds. They do like stealing small items from humans so their mischievous behaviour can cause conflict with people whose possessions they have just taken.
A group of Kea is called a circus.
About Steve Taylor
I love working in New Zealand as there is always something new to excite me. I learned the hard way with film B/W, colour negatives and slides and now love the freedom that digital cameras can give you. As I am often several months behind when I start working on my pictures I am often surprised and excited at what I find.
