Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Fits my phone perfectly and looks fantastic.
We are at Hampton Court Palace, looking out through an archway into the outer courtyard.
Initially the site of a farm in 1236, by the 1500's, it became one of King Henry VIII's castles. The buildings are of brick and stone, a mix of mediaeval Tudor and neoclassical Elizabethan (early Renaissance architecture during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I - with Italian, French and Spanish influences). The architects were Thomas Wolsey (Chief Minister to the King) and Sir Christopher Wren.
The grounds here are immense: a visit to property in southwest London is a day's outing. (The kitchens alone apparently cover 36,000 square feet - or did, in King Henry's time for they fed up to 1,000 people - and its maze is 60 acres).
The astronomical clock from 1540 on the gatehouse to the inner court is still functioning. It is 15' in diameter.
In 2015, Hampton Court Palace celebrates its 500th anniversary.
