The Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse in the dramatic scenery of the Beagle Channel near Ushuaia in the far south of Argentina. It gets its name (in French "Les Éclaireurs" means "the Scouts") as it is located on the northeastern-most island of the small group of Les Eclaireurs islands. It entered service on December 23, 1920; the tower is 11m / 36 ft high and the light 22.5m / 74 ft above sea level.
