I love Damon Powers' work, and will send you a jpeg of my purchase once it is hung in just the right place in my new home. I will be acquiring more of Powers' works. His photographic eye is evocative, the framing almost miraculous at times, and his photographs of lightning over water, or the dusk sky seemingly on fire, is light catching nature's biggest magic in a slice of time you can own and get lost in any time you want. My Super Blood Wolf Moon probably needs a parter .. perhaps Powers' latest shot of the Snow Super Moon!

My whole family is super pleased with our new (what looks like a) glossy photo above our fireplace! It's a great memory from one of our landing spots on our recent vacation ... printed on metal! Although the delivery was delayed from original date, the customer service team explained that the metal they originally received wasn't up to par, so they delayed printing until better metal in this size (5' wide) arrived, which made for a better result in the end.

Beautiful
While strolling through Mariner's Park I happened to notice the reflections of the Mariner's Museum Building on the Lake. This is in Newport News, VIRGINIA. I thought " If I were a photographer, this would be a great picture." My old Nikon was in my bag so I snapped a few pictures at this locale. When one turns this up-side-down at first it still looks like a building beside the water and the sky looks blue instead of grey. The giveaway is the bank on the right, which shows which way the picture goes. Fun! I have a camera with me just about everywhere I wander. This will be for sale as soon as I get Prints on Demand.
I love to paint! Although I do have a serious side, I am usually smiling, especially when I am painting or viewing other artists' work on FAA and commenting. Thank you for viewing my FAA site. Nice, balanced and all photo, Anne-Elizabeth. A good friend of mine, Captain T(om) J. Smith is a docent there part-time. Has a greaat book out, UNDERSEA STEALTH, about submarining (including experiences at Annapollis 60 years ago) and about doing it during the cold war, helping prevent real world war. I never thought submarining would interest me, but it has definitely grabbed me. Guess any subject can when you start getting to know it (people, too?).
