Hopewell Rocks, along Fundy Bay's shores in New Brunswick, Canada demonstrate the profound effect of tides. Since Fundy Bay features the world's largest tidal ranges, the ocean floor at Hopewell Rocks is covered with water for several hours before and after high tide. Walking on the ocean floor underneath and between these giant rocks demands a bit a trust that the tides will behave as tides are supposed to behave.
