Hastings is a town and borough in the county of East Sussex on the south coast of England famous for it's battle of 1066 when William of Normandy defeated and killed Harold Godwinson, the last Saxon King of England, destroying his army and opening England to the Norman conquest.
The Old Courthouse in Courthouse Street dates back to 1450 and is probably the oldest building in Hastings. Its twisted timber beams still support the original building on the corner of the street. The builiding is timber-framed, 2 storeys high with attics.
It has been an English Heritage Grade:II listed Building since 19 January 1951. Building ID:293719. A listed building, in the United Kingdom, is a building that has been placed on the Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. Grade II listed buildings are nationally important and of special interest.
Hello, I am Terri Waters, born in London UK in the last century, now happily settled in Mylor Bridge, Cornwall. Every morning when I pull back my curtains there is a whole new day asking to be explored and I can't wait to grab my camera, get on my bicycle and see where the road takes me. As a designer I venture into digital art every now and again. A change is as good as a rest for my legs and my bike. Sometimes an idea pops into my head from nowhere and I can't wait to produce an image to convey it to the outside world. Would you like your own photographs made perfect or your own works of art given a new twist for more variety of prints from your originals? Improvements to your own family portrait photographs by adjusting...
