This is painted in Pleinair, entirely painted on location. The Moulin Du Roc is an area in Niort near La Rochelle on the West coast of France. This old building was used as a bathhouse for a time. previously there was a wheel on the right and it served as a water mill and was part of a castle with a dungeon. The dungeon now serves as a museum.
