Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Ben paints in oils and watercolors to capture his innate feeling for nature and draws inspiration from the natural aspects of the land. He never tires searching for those vanishing reminders of the past that are characteristic of the Old South. All the beauty and sensitivity you would expect from such an artist are contained in his oils and...

palms are my favorite tree and an enduring symbol energy/growth. This is a very good painting of one and a well organized surface or composition giving a realistic painting a very modern feel of surface integrity or sense that one has remained true to the 2d-ness of the surface.
