Bill Meeker, 85 years old, retired from a thirty-four-year teaching career in 1987. He is a 1951 graduate of Central State College, now the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. He received a B.A. degree in fine arts. Bill has spent his lifetime pursuing an avocation of art and art-related activities. After retiring, Bill and his wife, Marge, opened their first bed and breakfast, Visages, which doubled as an art gallery. In 1996 Bill and Marge scaled down to a much smaller house.
