Artist's Description
This is an old schoolhouse in Michigan with my added imagination. The little girl is looking out the window checking on her horse that will be her ride home. This was inspired by my grandfathers stories of school in the early 20th century.

You have done a grand job with this painting, it is whimsical and well done. I love her little fingers on the window pane as she looks out, it does tell a story. I am glad the horse stayed there for her to ride home on, I wouldn't have wanted her to be 'stuck' at school all night.
