I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for my son. Like me, he is a life-long Yankees and Mickey Mantle fan, although he never saw "The Mick" play. I know that he will proudly hang this photo in his office.

Magnificent photo. Extremely pleased.
Note, however, that photos are more of a "stain" and not a "paint" when applied to the plywood substrate. So there is a heavy woodgrain is apparent on the lighter shades (see photo).
Would suggest ordering this as a poster or print and not on plywood.

This was a gift for my husband. His grand parents had one in their home and he always treasured it, so when I found this one, it reminded him of his grandparents and he was truly grateful. The way it was packaged was perfect.

This piece arrived very quickly and was packaged with multiple layers of cardboard to protect against damage in shipping. The piece itself is well made and colors are true to life. The only thing that was disappointing was that the edges of the wood mounting were bare wood and looked unfinished. I easily used brown paint and painted the edges for a finished look.

About Anthony Dunphy
As an artist, I strive to develop paintings that speak, not only to me personally ,but also to a much larger segment of society about a wide range of subjects from florals to Classic cars. Originals can be purchased here on fineartamerica or through my homepage at dunphyfineart.com or by email at email@example.com
My past, as a sailor influences my choice of using water in many of my paintings. Living in Asia has lent a softer quality to my work, especially when it is a nostalgic look back at a simpler time. A love of Country music has seen the introduction of farm scenes, cowboys and trucks to my works as has a lifelong interest in classic cars with an Art Deco flavor.
My finished works are filled with light and vibrant colors...
