I LOVE THEM ALL!!

Musical critters play a big part in my children's series and your musical critter gallery is a precious joy! The entire gallery would fit well into the series! Love this little guy and the bass! Here is one of the songs that appears in Robin Hood and The Magna Carta. Dear Diary, The Army of the God and the Holy Church marched for a week and arrived at the gates of Northampton Castle. They were a glorious sight as they carried red and white banners that waved in the breeze proclaiming to be the Army of God. Zeke, Cedric, Alfred, and Polly put on a musical performance each evening for the soldiers. They led everyone in sing-a-long songs that were inspiring and lifted everyone's spirits. Polly pecked her washboard and let out an occasional birdcall. They sang. "We march, march, march for ole England today; For God gives us rights that no one take 'eth away. We carry with us swords of shining steel. Before us, the tyrants will reel!" Polly hit some high notes. "Caw, caw, caw!" Zeke said, "This song makes me want to march around the stage!" Cedric said, "No one is stopping you, mate. Go ahead!" They marched around in circles playing their instruments. While they did this a few squirrels ran to the stage and began marching around. They sang, "Follow me where the tyrants ride. Come with me up a mountainside. We will find the tyrant's castle and climb the wall. We will never quit until the tyrants fall!" "Caw, caw, caw!" Polly hit a few more high notes. She was bit out of step; but no one cared. By this time a few rabbits joined the squirrels and marched around the stage. Cedric said, "We need a big ending here, mates. We can't let 'em down!" Alfred said, "Don't worry, kind sir, We have it covered!" They sang, "We are the Army of God and stand for that which is right. We stand up for the helpless and will always fight. Ne-er back down, when we are around; For we are the Army of God tonight!" Zeke clapped his paws together. "No one is throwing cabbages tonight!" They took their bows. Cedric said, "They must be tone deaf. Some of those high notes were well off the mark, mate!" Zeke said, "It had to be Polly. I never miss a note. I guess we will be back tomorrow night, folks!" "Caw, caw, caw!" The rabbits and squirrels also took a bow and became a part of the nightly event!

This is my second time purchasing from you and I will continue to do so, as well as spread the word. Keep up the great work!!

Pen Sherwood's Amitors artwork goes anywhere with Diana Kisselburg's words! Many years ago, my uncle Thomas (Tom) Phillip Hufford asked me to come up with a word the opposite of predator. Amitor is that word. Ami: Fr. friend, Amigo: Sp. friend, Amity: Eng. harmony, Ami: Formosa, Taiwan. Giraffe: non predatory animal unless young attacked. Butterflies: live, love, laugh, hope. Survive, thrive and inspire others. Pen Sherwood offered to do this Amtor artwork for free sharing the copyright with me for my Amitor concept. Amitor Tom would be so proud. Diana Hays Kisselburg

Artist's Description

Featured in the 200 Club on 7/2014 Featured in 500 Club This little squirrel is playing the Double Bass, although isolated in this picture I have a whole band in my back yard, they refer to themselves as the Acorn's. Do not dare call them a rodent or an animal. They think of themselves as a Musician. I so enjoy feeding the critters and the squirrels take on a personality all their own. I can just see this little guy and the other member of the Acorn Band a community entertaining each other. You can see the other members of the Acorn band in their very own gallery
