This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?
Artist's Description
During one of the worst winters in Dawn's lifetime, while hiking on snowshoes along a ridge, she looked across the draw to the steep hillside opposite, and saw hundreds of mule deer attempting to escape the harsh snows and winds by migrating down to the lower foothills and the river valley beyond. Struck by the stark drama, she later created this intaglio (etching) to commemorate the heroic struggle of the deer.
About Dawn Senior-Trask
I have been an artist since I was knee high to a short-horned locust. My dad, Willoughby Senior (FAA) was a professional artist and writer and I have stepped in his shoes since I was born, though he drew horses better than I did when I was a kid. My family lived in a hand-hewn log cabin we built ourselves in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and had no water or electricity. I love my life with my husband and family in Wyoming among the horses, gophers, deer, antelope, coyotes, red-tailed hawks, and the wild landscape. My work is driven by the land, animals, wild plants and birds I have come to know so well. Hummingbirds still try to get nectar from my upturned fingers. My artwork consists of all these things and more...

Wow!!! You have visually defined the word terrible. This life & death struggle is so powerfully created here. This is one of the most awesome works I've ever seen. I feel this deeply and am moved beyond words at the expression of the beauty and cruelty of this natural world.
