I really love this picture and have ordered it for a few friends also. When I received my picture I hung it on a nail from some previous groupings. When I sat down to observe my work I was so surprised to see the face of Jesus exactly mirrored in my sun dial mirror from the place where I always sit. I wish I had a way of sending you the picture I have of this. It is so awesome! I hope it worked.

I am somewhat disappointed in my artwork. I did not realize the wood grain would be visible through the imprinted picture. The shipping was very high so I don’t want to return and have to pay that again. Maybe something should be on the print options to describe what it will actually look like.

Traveling through life's adventure is easier with some sort of guide or book.
In religious terms, people frequently jump to, “Oh, you mean the Bible! That’s the guidebook for life,” and while this is true for many people, there is truth all around us that is there to be seen when we look for it. Perhaps the first step in finding it is to realize, as does the young woman in the artwork, The Traveler, that we do not know everything, cannot be expected to know everything, and especially when we find ourselves in new places or situations, are wise to look to another – a guidebook, a sacred text, another person who exhibits wisdom and the kindness and compassion that should accompany it – to help us to the next step.
The Traveler reminds us that we are all travelers on this planet, and even if we never make it beyond the confines of the valley in which we were born, we all face the next 24 hours, and the 24 hours after that, and the 24 hours after that, not knowi...
About Steve Henderson
I am a fine art painter who creates representational images celebrating light, life, and color. A commercial illustrator for more than 20 years, I have been painting for most of my life, and in the last 13 years have focused exclusively on fine art. I celebrate images that invite the viewer to step into the artwork and experience a sense of joy, peace, freedom, encouragement, meditation, and thought. There's a lot of angry art out there, as well as a lot of shallow pop. I choose to use the abilities and experience I have to promote beauty and goodness.
