I labored for hours and hours deciding which one of the various images available of the B-17 cockpit to choose. Really glad I decided on this one even though it was a few more bucks

I bought this for a present so I can't return it but it is pretty. Unfortunately, the colors are very muted/washed out/homogenized and details are quite blurred giving it a muddy appearance. It needs a higher contrast to look correct. Also, there are a few scraped white spots on the picture that must have happened before the clear coat was added and are hard to ignore. I wish it was a bit more clear and had a higher contrast. It would help the colors be more distinct. I have this painting as a poster and the difference is notable. The shipping, packaging and mounting are excellent and it hangs well on the wall. I like the metal but maybe thats why it came out the way it did but I don't know if that's the reason. I had planned to buy a larger one of a different painting but might reconsider. Maybe with a different picture the results would have been better.

It’s even more gorgeous than pictured. Love the high gloss metal. The art work is stellar. It was packaged fairly well, but wish the foam around it had been doubled on the front and the sharp edges (which cut though the foam) and any extra foam was doubled over on the back side. Five stars for the creative piece and 4 on the packing.
