Pretty awesome

Lisa is a great artist, somewhat in the mode of Grandma Moses.. She is good at depicting a very busy scene in a folksy manner.. The little dachshunds in the foreground sealed the deal because we own one,, Thanks again

Cheap, cheap, cheap. Cheap quality, not price.

The material was sent in a bag and was extremely creased

I am the artist who ordered these items. I was disappointed with the fleece blankets. The image printed crooked on 4 of the 5 blankets and the 'plush fleece' is very different from the plush fleece blankets I ordered previously. No where near as 'plush'. These blankets were unsellable. Also, one of the tapestries showed up with a thread that was pressed right into the fabric which made it unsellable as well. The reason I didn't ship these items back was due to the fact that by the time I received the order, there was insufficient time to return the order in time to meet the '30 day' from the date ordered deadline. This is the first time I've been disappointed with an order featuring my art by way of FAA. Sadly, it makes me hesitant to order again.

Artist's Description

This is Issie, my brother's Chesapeake Bay Retriever, out duck hunting on the opening day of the 1987 season, at the favourite pothole south of Kaladar, Ontario. Chesapeakes love the water and it doesn't matter how cold it is along as it is not frozen. They are strong minded and very intelligent creatures. Our own Chesapeake could tell where I was going by the clothes I was wearing. The wardrobe that she liked best were my play clothes which meant that she and I were going to muck around the farm and maybe even paint. It was overcast with almost continuous rain and/or drizzle ... but it was still great to be out and we all had a great time watching the birds.

About Phil Chadwick

Trained at Queens University as a nuclear physicist, Phil the Forecaster has been a professional meteorologist since 1976. Painting has however been his passion forever. For ten years, he studied under the late Mario Airomi, a famous Italian artist. Phil paints what he knows best: weather, nature, canoes and his family. There are not enough hours in the day to record the inspiration that abounds. Phil paints mainly en plein air striving for impressionistic realism. Something intangible and sometimes magical enters the art when one is actually out in the elements surrounded by inspiration. Bold colours and shapes can be found in the natural world if you only look. Phils art hangs in many private and corporate collections around the...
