The Wyvern
A would-be dragon slayer, a fearless knight in shining armor courageously faces a Wyvern, a fierce two legged dragon with a poisonous sting at the end of its tail. Standing amongst the ferns that cover the forest floor, the noble warrior faces off with the reptilian monster that inhabits the dark wood. He holds in his hands a massive sword and advances to clearing ahead where the great beast roars its challenge and raises its deadly tail.
Fantasy art has always been one of my favorite genres of art. However, I've often found that artists (including myself) tend to go a bit overboard when it comes to armor. Often it's depicted as so cumbersome that it would break the wearer's spine or collar bone. Also, it tends to often be shown with an enormous amount of elaborate decoration.
