Not what I anticipated. I love this picture, Island Splendor, for it's informal hominess, colors, and style. I chose to order it on a metal backing. The picture is printed well, it's easy to hang, it looks sturdy, it was very well packed, and arrived in a few days after I ordered it. However, I do not like that shiny glass look of it at all, and I would never order metal again. This result looks nothing at all like metal! I chose not to return it, though I am not certain what use I will make of it. Because the quality itself is good and I have ordered three other times with good results I gave this 4 stars.

These guys were amazing to work with. I order my prints then realized I needed by a certain date to get it by my wife’s birthday and they jumped on it, and made me look good, because it was here before her birthday and the print is amazing.

The art arrived timely and undamaged, exactly how it appeared on the web site. I am very pleased with the quality of the print.

Artist's Description

Australian Pelicans live an all parts of Australia where there are lakes, swamps and the sea. With such a massive bill, one wonders how they manage to preen so carefully. Completed in 2002, this painting took 56 hours to paint. It was my first attempt at painting water. Although the ORIGINAL has sold, this image is now available as beautiful prints and cards through this website. Please take a look!
