This is another take on my "Parade of the Seasons" theme. In this painting, the trees and flowers along the alley below them progress from the blossoms of spring to the deep greens of summer, which then transform into the brilliant warm tones of autumn. Finally, the viewer comes to rest in the winter vignette beyond. The years roll by........
