Weekender Tote Bag Reviews (76)

Average Rating (5 Stars):

I was very disappointed as the picture on the front of the bag has a black background but the lining on all of these bags is grey. It looks so dreadful I’m sure it even looks worse with a light or pastel coloured cover. As you use it this grey keeps showing giving it a cheap look. it would be so much better without lining if grey is the best you can do. Also the fabric is too soft and droops if the bag isn’t full. So you end up having a droopy bag with grey lining showing. It would be so much better to make this style in the fabric you use in the standard tote. It keeps its shape and the image on this fabric is much clearer. Also it doesn’t need to be lined.

Love this tote, very large and rugged for me to carry books in. Adorable illustration from a gourmet magazine cover. High quality.

Beautiful.

The bag is lovely, great printing and sturdily made. BUT I gave it 4 stars because it would be so much better if the bag had pockets, or sections, so it could be more of a travel or beach bag, not just a big undivided tote. The quality is excellent, lets get more items that are "printable".

Artist's Description

I have not done a lot of still life paintings during the past few years. That is going to change. It is my understanding that still life paintings are the least likely to sell in galleries. I dont know why this is as we have a host of great still life artists practicing in America today. Perhaps it is because many paint still life works do not have a story to tell. When I was fifteen years old, I fell in love with Michael W. Harnetts (1848-1892) paintings. Even now at age 70, I still stand transfixed at his handling of paint and colors. It was Harnetts work that initially interested me in painting. If anyone was to be given credit for starting me out, it was this artist. I grew up in Philadelphia (the city of art) as a kid. Original Harnett works were easy to locate and view. I studied them intensely. My style of still life painting is much influenced by this study of his work. In the next few months, I will be putting up a few of my recent paintings depicting items I find in my s...

Admiring much of the work of Americas past masters such as Inness, Moran, Chase, Homer and Bierstadt, among others. He then started to generate his lifelong love of oil painting. Moving to Oregon in the early sixties, while free lancing in art, Jim was introduced to the field of architecture. Upon receiving commissions to...
