One of the things that makes holidays and family gatherings special to a lot of us is tradition. At least in my family, we like to go to the same family member's house for a particular holiday and we like to see the same yummy things on the menu. Even down to the same china and silverware on the table, we do love our traditions. Tradition brings back thoughts of childhood, of happy times, good memories of those who have gone on, and can be very comforting.

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. Lois, with all of the care you put into this digitalArtpiece and her backstory...we are of like minds!... My grandparents were the tradition keepers; and then it passed to...me. The collections went to my cousins and so, I began my own...my Christmas Tree Spode set has ushered in Thanksgivings and Christmases for 45 years and the cleanup is two hours to holiday tunes and Christmas tree lights with my husband now on sink duty and I am only on wiping and curio reshelving. If we lived close by, we would be Tea- ladies.
