Our tote bags are made from soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric and include a 1" black strap for easy carrying on your shoulder.   All seams are double-stitched for added durability.   Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

Artist's Description

Ernesto Antonio "Tito" Puente, born (April 20, 1923 to June 1, 2000), was a Latin jazz and salsa musician and composer. The son of native Puerto Ricans, Ernest and Ercilia Puente, living in New York City's Spanish Harlem community, Puente is often credited as "The Musical Pope," "El Rey de los Timbales" (The King of the timbales) and "The King of Latin Music." He is best known for dance-oriented mambo and Latin jazz compositions that helped keep his career going for 50 years. He and his music appear in many films such as The Mambo Kings and Fernando Trueba's Calle 54. He guest-starred on several television shows including Sesame Street, The Cosby Show and, most notably, The Simpsons two-part episode "Who Shot Mr. Burns?". Tito Puente was born on April 20, 1923, at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City. His family moved frequently, but he spent the majority of his childhood in the Spanish Harlem area of the city. Jerome L. Vaden is an international watercolor artist whose professional art career spans more than 30 years. He has participated in the Cherry Creek Arts Festival in Denver for the first five years, and was featured in a one-man 30-day art exhibit in the Town Hall of Littleton, Colorado. These are just two of the many exhibits where his unique displays are presented with the theme of the artwork. Because of his love of music, he created the original playbill It AinĂ¯t Nothin But The Blues, for the Denver Center for Performing Arts Theatre; the play was nominated for a Tony Award in 1999.
