Average Rating (4.85 Stars):

We absolutely love shark week and this puts the finishing touches on our bathroom for this years week. It is as advertised just 100% better in person

Blends in well with our mostly white bath. The actual print looks a bit out of focus versus what is shown in the preview. Not sure if it’s the quality of the photo or a consequence of the transfer process. Will say that, overall, it looks nice. Quality fabric but the quality of the photo keeps this from being a 5 or 4.

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of getting the image too big. When I received the shower curtain the image was so blurry and blown out it was almost unrecognizable. Maybe there should be a recommended resolution for images on certain sized products

I love this artist and have bought his work before. I am also a repeat Fine Art America customer and will order again from them.

Artist's Description

The original acrylic of this scene was a commission piece as a wall mural that included a few personal items that are eliminated on this version. An Arizona desert scene was requested with lots of saguaro cacti along with other desert plants, including the agave, aloe vera, yucca, ocotillo, Santa Rita cactus, barrel cactus, globe mallow and hedgehog cactus that are in bloom. The red rock in the foreground sports petroglyphs in Navajo likeness portraying the owners journey to Arizona where they ended up in a village near the San Tan Mountains. Also in the foreground is a family of Gambel's Quail that are always seen running in the desert sand looking for something to eat. Gila woodpeckers have taken over the saguaro cactus on the right. This trompe l'oeil painting is by Marilyn Smith

About Marilyn Smith

Thank you for stopping by my gallery! I am currently residing in Chandler, Arizona and have previously exhibited in galleries in Arizona and Wisconsin. Having lived in both states, it has given me very diverse subject matter as is evident in the variety of art pieces I have posted here. While working for the Dean Medical Center in Madison, WI, I completed several commission pieces to be displayed in their clinics ("Comin' Home", "The Catch", "Little Mill", and Christine's Ride"). I also created their employee birthday card for...
