This painting - entitled "Tree of Life" - is part of my "Stained Glass on Canvas" series. While the tree of life image/ idea has been widely popular in art throughout the ages, this painting is completely original and it's technique is unique. This artwork is dramatic-decorative, as well as symbolically-introspective, metaphysical. The painting is large (30"x40") and extremelly impressive in real life: the photo image do not capture its color transluscense and stained glass effect. All sides are painted, so it can be dispayed with or without frame. This painting is for sale. It's signed on a back by the artist and comes with certificate of authenticity. About Rae Chichilnitsky
My bio in a nutshell... Born in the former USSR, where I majored in music (Masters degree in Musicology) and freelanced as an illustrator. Emigrated to the USA in 1976. Learned computer programming and made my living working in the corporate IT world (mostly, on Wall St.) since the early 80s. Also, freelanced as an illustrator, took part in several art exhibitions during this period. Relocated to PA in 2005. Currently, I reside in Churchville, (Bucks Co.) with my husband and two cats. I paint, illustrate, design and give private art lessons. I exhibit and sell my artwork (mostly, online), as well as work on commission.
