A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
ORIGINAL PASTEL PAINTING ON SANDPAPER / 7,8" x 11,8" / 20 x 30 cm / 2013
This is a pastel painting representing a picturesque square from Lyon, France, Place de la Trinite, situated in the old Lyon.
The Place de la Trinite is a square located in the 5th arrondissement of Lyon. The square, fully paved and surrounded by old buildings like the sun house (18th century), is more a crossing of small streets than a real square. It is on the hillside of Fourviere and is the low extremity of the hill of Gourguillon. The square is in the center of the zone classified as World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
About Mona Edulesco
Mona Edulesco is a Romanian painter and architect who resides in France and specializes in textured impasto palette knife oil paintings. Her preference for abstract cityscapes reflects her background in architecture and urban planning. Edulesco merges her experience in architectural concept drawings with the freedom and energy of palette knife painting into phantasmagorical textural impressionistic works. I call my style Textured Impressionism, with a mix of post-impressionist and expressionist influences and a semi-abstract manner of representation. It can be seen as a form of textural modern impressionism, as I use thick layers of oil paint to achieve a vibrant movement in my works. I am absolutely fascinated by the explosive thick...
