This longing to escape is reflected in her art. As a graduate of University of Florida with a major in Exercise Science and a minor in Art, she would teach in the Winter and travel to Europe in the Summer. Over the years she has painted in oils, water colors and acrylics. She now paints exclusively in acrylics on masonite, as this medium allows her to pay meticulous attention to detail.
