"Twilight Time, No. 2", is an original watercolor, 18" X 24", painted with American Journey and D. Smith paints on Arches 140-pound cold press paper. The painting is an expressive look at how the last light of the day transforms the beautiful Texas Hill Country where I live and paint.
Virgil Carter, BWS, PWS, PWCS, TWS, is a watercolor painter, teacher, demonstrator, workshop leader, author and Internet commentator. He paints primarily in watercolor, both en plein aire and from his studio in Boerne, TX. Primarily a representational painter, Virgil paints a variety of subjects, but enjoys most painting landscapes and town/urban subjects.
