Throw Pillow Reviews (2081)

Average Rating (5 Stars):

The person that finally received teddy pillow was thoroughly surprise and enjoying showing it to others. She loves the pillow. A couple of reminders - when ordering pillows 12x12 (unstuffed) they will reduce to smaller size when stuffed. Also, do you measure corner to corner diagonally or width to get the exact size. Another thing should let people know that when order that the product will not be in your hands for at least 2 weeks.

Artist's Description

A framed view of the North Head Lighthouse with a beautiful sunset. This lighthouse marks the mouth of the Columbia river. Before it was establish there were many ship wrecks at the mouth. After Cape Disappointment Lightstation was established in 1856 to mark the entrance to the Columbia River, mariners approaching the river from the north complained they could not see the light until they had nearly reached the river. Their cry for an additional lighthouse was supported by the many shipwrecks, which occurred along the Long Beach Peninsula, just north of the cape. The North Head lighthouse was completed and went into service in 1898. It used the first-order Fresnel lens from Cape Disappointment when the Cape Disappointment lighthouse received the smaller fourth-order lens. The lighthouse itself is only sixty-five feet tall, but it sits on a bluff 130 feet high overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Rumor is that the area surrounding the lighthouse is said to be one of the windiest places i...

About Robert Bales

I am a retired teacher, coach and athletic director. While my wife, Judy, and I were teaching she had a photo studio, and I had a dark room where I did black and white and color. Some was for the studio while most of it was just a hobby. When we retired in 2000, we sold our house in Eastern Washington and moved onto our boat, Last Class, and our motorhome. We sold Last Class a few years ago and bought a small house in Yuma, Arizona and bought another one in Emmett Idaho. Now we spend the summers in Emmett and the winters in Yuma. Over our 50 years of marriage, we have always had an interest in photography and both of us enjoy taking the photos for this site. I am heading to Yuma for the winter so I will off line some of the time for 3...
