Incredible job! L/F

Thank you Elena. I had created a series of Indian portraits a number of years ago and currently have four left in my studio/gallery in Nashville, IN. One of the Indian portraits in that series, the one called "Chief Crazy Horse", ended up being published in a historical documentary by the University of Michigan, which I thought was a nice honor. Thank you again for your feedback. Best Wishes, Stan Hamilton

Wow, this is fantastic!

This indian is Spotted Bull of the Mandan tribe. The only reason I know who he is was because I have done extensive research on Edward E. Curtis and am part choctaw myself. I also did this indian as a portrait some time ago for an art class and I think that is why it stuck out to me so much as I was going through the drawings on fine art. I love the profile of this individual and you captured it well. Keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for expressing your appreciation! It is very uplifting!

Beautiful work Stan!

AWESOME WORK STAN,,,,I LOVE NATIVE AMERICANS STAN THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL AND PROUD PEOPLE.

Although well executed.. he's a very sad looking man. Course, losing your country can do that to you..

I love it!!

Bought for a fellow Navy veteran. He was beyond pleased, and so am I. Being able to choose such a unique mounting made the gift even "giftier" since it's so unique. Thanks - very pleased.

Sadly didn't turn out as nice as I had hoped. The picture is printed faintly and is hard to see well. Shipping and packaging was good.

Perfect picture for office st work!

I know the photographer and have a print of the original photo. I love the photo and the wood block - but not together. The photograph reproduced on the wood block lost saturation, vibrancy, sharpness. Very disappointing. I had to return it.

About Stan Hamilton

Stan Hamilton

I am a self-taught artist, the only artist of nine siblings, from a small town in Kansas. My love for art, particularly drawing and painting became apparent to me as a young child in grade school. I kept my art as a hobby until I reached middle age, then started creating commission portraits, landscapes, seascapes, and wildlife professionally. Currently, I have art collectors of my original work in twelve states and prints of my work sold throughout the United States. Two of my paintings have now been published in books, one in a book of stories of Brown Country Indiana and a double portrait I had created of Kennedy & Lincoln which has now been published in college text books. One of my painting prints of a John Deere tractor sold...
