This was the perfect work of art for a tapestry. It looks like a genuine tapestry. The size and the price were unbelievable. It replaced a genuine tapestry I bought in Belgium for $400, which I ruined by trying to clean it. All the color bled out. This one is better!

I got this wall hanging for my son's dorm room wall. It turned out great. Very pleased.

This turned out great. The pattern was simple and I minimized it enough to where it wouldn’t be blown out

Exactly what I expected! Fast shipping! All around perfect experience!

Artist's Description

USS Constellation constructed in 1854 is a sloop-of-war and the second United States Navy ship to carry this famous name. According to the US Naval Registry the original frigate was disassembled on 25 June 1853 in Gosport Navy Yard in Norfolk, Virginia, and the sloop-of-war was constructed in the same yard, possibly with a few recycled materials from the old frigate. From 1855-1858 Constellation performed largely diplomatic duties as part of the US Mediterranean Squadron. She was flagship of the USN African Squadron from 1859-1861. In this period she disrupted the African slave trade by interdicting three slave ships and releasing the imprisoned Africans. On December 21, 1859, she captured the brig Delicia which was "without colors or...

About Brian Wallace

I'm a retired communications instructor/developer, raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (USA). I have a wide range of interests which include some artistic talent. My eclectic tastes, thirst for variety, and preference for images over words, eventually lead me through the internet to the world of 3D stereo in 2005. Since I've been with Fine Art America, I've focused primarily on regular photography with a touch of digital manipulation to better compose the images and ideas. Each time I think I've reached a peak, I find myself crossing another threshold that challenges my abilities and talents while paving way to another plateau.
