The picture is beautiful as are all of Spencer Meagher's works. It is a wedding gift to a couple who spent their honeymoon in the area where this picture was painted. So I will be unable to supply you with a photo. But I can tell you I am very pleased with the painting and I have high hopes the happy couple will be as well.

This was my second metal print and I have not been disappointed. Quality is first class on both my metal pictures. They are glossy as metal prints are. I do love them but am hoping maybe some non-glare metal prints will also be available in the future. But for now, these are really very very nice and good not to have to mat and frame everything. They are ready to hang right out of the box and really do look sharp on the wall.

Artist's Description

This is the first painting in my series "Ships That Never Were." It depicts the USS Reluctant (AK-601) made famous in the 1955 film "Mr. Roberts" starring Henry Fonda and James Cagney. If you look very closely you'll notice the infamous palm tree on the starboard side of the deckhouse just forward of the bridge.

Having spent almost all of my life near or on the sea, my first love is marine subjects. Concentrating in oils and watercolors, my other interests are landscapes and still-lifes.
